Yoga Spirt Studios we provide a holistic system of learning Hatha
Yoga that embraces the essence of this ancient tradition while also making
the practice accessible and relevant to our modern day lifestyles and ways
of thinking.
Our teachers are welcoming, caring and knowlegeable, creating an atmosphere for learning that is safe and comfortable for students of all ages and physical ability.
The
style of Hatha Yoga presented at the studio teaches precise mindful movement
, relaxation methods,
pranayama and meditation. This type of yoga practice increases our fitness
and flexibility while helping us to feel relaxed and in tune with ourselves,
comfortable in our bodies, vital and energetic.
The structure of the classes enables students to learn at their own pace. For beginners we reccomend our 6 week Beginners Course followed by our Ongoing Beginners classes which you would do for at least 3 months before trying our Organic Flow and Contemporary/Classical classes. We also offer Pre Natal classes and Courses in Meditation. Residential retreats and non - residential workshops are held through out the year for those students who wish to explore yoga more deeply. An accredited 15 month Yoga Teacher Training Course commences every year.
The studio is located in a delightful heritage property. Our two yoga studios are spacious, light filled and tranquil, with good heating and cooling. There are change room facilities and parking is easy.
